I am ready - Isak agrees terms with Liverpool, club meeting expected within 48 hours
The Reds made enquiry for the forward a few weeks ago, with Newcastle informing them that he is not up for sale.
However, the Swedish star has informed Newcastle that he wants to leave the Magpies this summer, with Liverpool making a move for the forward.
Isak wants Liverpool
Isak has agreed personal terms with Liverpool, with the deal being for five years and the salary meets the player's requirements.
Isak currently earns around £130,000 a week. It's claimed his agents have pushed for a figure closer to £300,000.
According to Tavolieri, via Sportal, a meeting between the two clubs is scheduled within the next 48 hours.
Newcastle are asking for approximately £150 million for the Swedish international, while Liverpool hope to finalise a deal for £120 million plus add-ons.
It's suggested that the Merseyside club's opening offer, which will serve as a starting point for negotiations, will be around £100 million.
