‘His management has been a joke’ - Italian football director slams Osimhen for poor transfer handling

Osimhen’s transfer saga continues as Napoli seeks a solution for the striker, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Al Ahli.

One of the most significant problems in Europe is Osimhen's departure from Napoli, which has persisted since the conclusion of the previous season.

The Nigerian international has not appeared for Napoli since the beginning of the season due to his uncertain future. 

Pietro Lo Monaco has blasted Super Eagles star Osimhen for the role he has played in his transfer saga.

According to Calcio Napoli, Lo Monaco said, “The market sets the price, it all depends on whether the president decides to accept or not. 

“His (Osimhen) management has been a joke, it is inconceivable that a player would dare to refuse to play,”

Football manager Lo Monaco has voiced his dissatisfaction at the transfer saga, with the matter taking up most of the Italian news.

He has been absent from their Copa Italia encounter against Modena as well as two Serie A matches against Verona and Bologna.

Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG, and Al Ahli have all expressed interest in Osimhen; nevertheless, the situation has either been caused by his demands personally or by Napoli's high asking price.

Osimhen is in a difficult situation because the transfer window is about to close in less than 48 hours, with Napoli waiting for Chelsea or Al Ahli to agree a deal.
