'He said nothing' - Nigerians blast CAF president Motsepe over Libya vs Nigeria comments
Nigerians have reacted to the comments made by Confederation of African Football (CAF) president Patrick Motsepe regarding the scary situation the Nigerian Super Eagles faced in Libya.
Pulse Sports reported that Super Eagles players and officials were subjected to harsh treatment in Libya ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier last week.
The three-time African champions were scheduled to face Libya in the return leg last Tuesday but could not participate after being held hostage for over 20 hours at a small airport.
Their flight to Benghazi was diverted just before landing, marking the beginning of their ordeal, which lasted 24 hours.

Nothing new to add To what we already know
Best thing to do in this situation is to review the laws concerning logistics for teams on the continent in particular.
"Get to the point bro, stop twerking."
"we are proud of those nations who treat visiting national teams and visiting football clubs with the respect and dignity that they deserve, but also who treats them in the same way they want to be treated when they visit those countries"
