The victory was also sweet revenge against former Arsenal manager Unai Emery who did the double against the Gunners last season to help end their title dreams.

Calafiori, who joined Arsenal this summer, came on as a substitute for Jurrien Timber in the final 11 minutes of the game.

However, it was a post-match image of the young defender that caught fans' attention and quickly went viral on social media.
