‘He gets angry about nothing’ - Ayegbeni slams Nwabali, claims he is needs to be tammed

The Nigeria goalkeeper have come under criticism for some of his actions during the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Chippa star’s ability in goal has been questioned by fans after his mistake against Rwanda almost cost the Super Eagles.

Following Nwabali’s on-field behaviours, Ayegbeni questioned the goalkeeper’s actions, claiming they affect the players.

Ayegbeni has slammed Nwabali for his attitute on the field and claimed that he is not as good as Enyeama.

Speaking on a Podcast, Ayegbeni said, "Like maybe because the way they dive, they eat their body on the floor. That's why they go mental. He is a good goalkeeper. You cannot compare Nwabali to Enyeama. Speaki

"Enyeama is still our number one. Yeah. Our number one for sure than Nwabali, you know. Sometimes Nwabali, he always like he gets angry about nothing. And I remember we were so lucky.

"There was this game that we played and it tried to calm him down. Angry for what? Do you expect the striker to just leave you? No. He uses his body to like to charge you.

"Then he would get angry. And it was like calm down, calm down. I was like no. He is a good keeper but good. You can never compare with Enyeama.

"And I think for us to think for him to change his mentality, it will be hard because he has grown past 20 something or so. He is not a young goalkeeper anymore. He still keeping that South Africa mentality for him."
