Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton echoed teammate Charles Leclerc's sentiment, saying he didn't feel a significant difference in the SF-25's handling with the new rear suspension, which Ferrari will debut in Belgium this weekend.

Both drivers had the opportunity to test the new suspension during a filming day at Mugello last week. Following the test, Leclerc stated he hadn't noticed a major change in the SF-25's behavior, a view shared by Hamilton.

The British driver, however, emphasised his satisfaction with having new components to evaluate during the filming day.

"The feeling was the same as before. It was a filming day, so we did about 10 laps or so – 14 laps for filming. It wasn't a test. We'll try the suspension during practice, and I'm sure we'll learn more about it then. We'll figure out how to tune it better to get more out of it. In the simulator, there wasn't a big difference, but I'm sure that on different tracks, there might be benefits."

Hamilton continued, "For me, the positive was that we had a filming day where we had new parts. Generally, up to now, we only had the new floor in Bahrain, and then it took a while before the next update, which came in Austria.

"From a pace perspective, it was what I expected. I was pleased that the factory had been working hard. There are a lot of changes, and it takes time to see the results. So, I was very happy that we had these new parts.

"We will try to take advantage of them this weekend. But it will be very difficult because we won't have much preparation time. We will have to work very hard and gather a lot of information with both cars. In terms of setup, it's unlikely we'll find the optimum this weekend. We'll need a few weekends for that."
