Turkish giants Galatasaray are set to complete a double swoop for Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi and former Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
Icardi on the verge of permanent Galatasaray stay
Icardi had been on loan at Galatasaray since the start of the 2022/23 season, scoring 22 goals and assisting seven more for the Turkish side in the league, helping them to the Super Lig title in his first campaign with the club.

With PSG unwilling to make space for the Argentine forward in their plans, Galatasaray have been more than happy to bring Icardi back to the club to kick on from his excellent first season.
According to reports from transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, PSG will receive a €10 million fee for the striker, who joined them from Inter in 2020 for €50 million.
Zaha joins Galatasary after leaving Crystal Palace
Galatasaray will also welcome former Crystal Palace winger Zaha, who joins for free after his contract at the Eagles ran out this summer.

Zaha decided not to renew his Crystal Palace contract in hopes that he would be able to join a top European side, and he will now join Galatasaray after failing to agree on a move to Saudi Arabia.
The Ivorian forward had been Crystal Palace’s talisman before leaving, winning the club’s Player of the Year award on three occasions.
The 30-year-old winger has already travelled to Turkey after completing the move and will be unveiled as a new player by the club in the coming days.
