Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was handed his first start in over a year but lasted just 24 minutes.
Pogba was recalled to the Juventus starting eleven for the game against David Okereke’s Cremonese in the Serie A on Sunday night.
However, after 390 days of struggling with injuries, he was on the pitch for just 24 minutes as Cremonese held Juventus to a goalless affair at the break in Turin.
Pogba injured again
The former World Cup winner looked good for the Old Lady in the first quarter of the game against the bottom-of-the-table side.
But on the 24th minute, he attempted a shot from a distance and went down thereafter holding his thigh in pain.
He went on to cover his face with his jersey as he looks disappointed with himself. He seemed emotional as he walked down the tunnel with the medical team with him.
The 29-year-old played a decisive role as Juventus avoided a defeat at home against Sevilla in the Europa League semifinal first leg in midweek.
He left the pitch with a chance created, one key pass, 22 touches, and two passes in the final third.
