The 28-year-old Nigerian striker recently secured a one-year contract with Celtic, with an option for a further year, following the mutual termination of his deal with Sevilla.

Iheanacho joined Sevilla in 2024 after leaving Leicester City, but fell out of favour under Sevilla manager Matías Almeyda and was left out of the squad for the opening La Liga matches of the season.

Prior to his Sevilla stint, Iheanacho was loaned to Middlesbrough where he contributed with goals and assists.
