Isaac Success made a memorable debut for Al-Wasl in the Asian Champions League Elite, West, scoring a stoppage-time winner to secure a 2-1 victory over Al-Gharafa.
Success, who joined Al-Wasl after terminating his contract with Udinese, became a substitute in the 78th minute. He immediately impacted, scoring the winning goal in the 92nd minute.
The match was a thrilling encounter, with Al-Gharafa taking the lead in the first half and Al-Wasl equalising in the 84th minute through De Lima.

Pulse Sports reports that Al Wasl FC officially signed Nigerian striker Isaac Success, to strengthen their lineup for the 2024-2025 season. Success, formerly of Udinese, will wear the number 90 shirt.
With extensive experience in European football, the 28-year-old has played for notable clubs, including Udinese, Granada, Málaga, and Watford.
His career highlights include being the top scorer at the Under-17 Africa Cup and winning the Under-17 World Cup with Nigeria in 2013.
Expressing his excitement about joining Al Wasl, Success stated, “I am looking forward to meeting you [the fans], and I hope we can achieve great things together.”
His addition aims to boost Al Wasl's attacking strength as they pursue success in domestic and regional competitions.
