Flying Eagles wonderkids out to rule prestigious Italian cup with Beyond Limits, others
Nigeria's rising stars will aim to continue their country's charge at the prestigious Viareggio Cup when the quarterfinals kick off on Friday.
Pulse Sports Nigeria reports that Nigeria has four representatives at the Italian Cup, with all progressing to the last eight led by the Flying Eagles duo of Farouq Ogundare and Kparobo Arierhi of Beyond Limits.
Flying Eagles duo leads Nigerian clubs
Ogundare and Kparobo will be the most high-profile names to lead Nigerian academy side Beyond Limits against Italian outfit Torino.
The Flying Eagles' prospects have lit up the global youth tournament, dazzling with their pace, flair, playmaking, and lethal finishing.
Ogundare announced his arrival by rocketing home a long-range piledriver and a hattrick alongside teammate, Kparobo, who also netted a hattrick in the group stages.
Now Beyond Limits will look to their talented teens Ogundare and Arierhi to unlock Torino's defense and book a semi-final spot.
Both players were in action in the round of 16 clash against Avellino but were outshone by teammate, Isaac Chukwudi, who stole the show.
Chukwudi netted a brilliant brace to inspire the No Limits to a comfortable 3-1 win to complete another clean sweep for Nigeria at the Viareggio Cup.
