Hope for Super Eagles? FIFA launch probe into Mokoena ineligibility

FIFA has reportedly launched an official investigation into the alleged ineligibility of South African midfielder Teboho Mokoena, dealing a significant blow to Bafana Bafana’s World Cup hopes.

In a letter dated September 15, FIFA informed the South African Football Association (SAFA) that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against both the association and Mokoena.
