Family love - Arokodare pays tribute to brother with Ycee’s song during Super Eagles initiation
Nigeria’s tradition of welcoming new players with a song performance was recently showcased with the Genk striker's rendition of the 2017 chart-topping hit.
The Genk striker enlivened the camp with his spirited performance of the popular song "Juice" by Ycee.
Arokodare made his debut for the Super Eagles, coming in to replace Victor Osimhen in the second half of Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Rwanda.

As is customary, each player invited to join the Super Eagles squad is expected to stand on a chair during team dinners and entertain their teammates by introducing themselves and singing their favourite song.
Arokodare performed Ycee's 2017 hit song "Juice," featuring British-Nigerian producer and artist Maleek Berry, during his initiation, as shared on X by Pooja.

"Juice," a song by Ycee, was released under Tinny Entertainment, a label owned by Timilehin Arokodare, who has close ties to the Arokodare family.
Arokodare, the newly invited Super Eagles player, is the younger brother of Timilehin, the CEO of the record label.
The Super Eagles debut was celebrated on Arokodare's social media account "smalltinny," along with other past achievements.
The player's performance is viewed as a subtle homage to the family's ties with the record label that propelled Ycee's career.
