Europa League hero Ademola Lookman helps Atalanta record comfortable win over Torino

The Super Eagles star was in superb form in the game after recently scoring a hat trick in the final of the Europa League against Bayer Leverkusen and breaking several records.

Atalanta were too strong for Torino and were thrashed 3-0 with the help of Gianluca Scamacca, Ademola Lookman and Mario Pasalic.

Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini made six changes to his side that defeated Bayer Leverkusen to win the UEFA Europa League. Hat trick hero Ademola Lookman was in the lineup for the game against Torino.

Torino manager Ivan Juric made two changes to his side that beat AC Milan 3-1 in the Serie A last weekend.

Atalanta started the game brightly and scored the first goal of the game in the first 20 minutes. Gianluca Scamacca received a delightful pass inside the box and smashed a precise shot inside the right post. 

The home side kept their momentum and scored the second goal to put themselves in a comfortable position.

Ademola Lookman, the hat trick hero, fired a rebound into the net after the ball broke to him in the box before the halftime whistle.

The second half started and Atalanta continued dominating the game and creating chances. The third goal was then scored in the 71st minute after the home side had a player brought down in the box.

Mario Pasalic stepped up to take the penalty and slotted the ball low into the right of the net, giving goalkeeper Luca Gemello no chance.

Lookman added the fourth goal of the game, but the goal was later ruled out for offside, which got the forward pissed.

The game ended 3-0 in favour of Atalanta, with Lookman proving his hat trick in the Europa League final was just the tip of the iceberg.
