Elizabeth Oshoba: Nigerian boxer shows off titles

Nigerian boxer Elizabeth Oshoba is trending on social media.

The 24-year-old has been dominant in the trends following her accomplishments in boxing.

At the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, Oshoba defeated Italian Michela Braga to earn the silver featherweight title of the World Boxing Council.

Elizabeth dominated Braga from the start of the fight, displaying her best boxing qualities.

The Judges gave Oshoba scores of 88-82, 87-83, and 90-80.

Elizabeth is now a strong contender after improving her record to 7 victories and 4 knockouts.

She recently took to social media to show off her accolades.

Oshoba, the silver medallist from the Commonwealth Games and the holder of the World Boxing Council silver championship, was unable to compete in the African Games in Accra, Ghana due to an injury.

Oshoba, who won a bronze medal at the 2019 African Games in Rabat before losing to Botswana's Keamogetse Kenosi in the semifinals, had agreed to be a member of the squad; however, an injury she suffered during a training session in London has prevented her from competing at the Games.
