Eagles new coach talks up Olise and Eberechi Eze threats
New Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is relishing the opportunity to pit his attacking talents against Manchester United as he talked up the threat Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze posed before the clash.
Glasner only recently took over at Selhurst Park but is already excited by the potential of his in-form forwards going into the United game on Monday night.
Eagles boss on Olise and Eze
The Austrian was full of praise for Palace's dynamic duo Olise and Eze, suggesting their dribbling ability and link-up play could cause Erik Ten Hag's side plenty of problems.
"If they play like against West Ham, yes, I think we have an attack to fear," Glasner said with a smile when asked about the English pair's qualities by Sky Sports.
"They are good individual players with excellent dribbling, but they can also combine together brilliantly. They certainly know how to use their strengths."
Olise and Eze have hit form at the right time, providing goals and creativity in recent weeks as Palace have climbed away from relegation danger.
Glasner would be excited to unleash them on the big stage against one of the Premier League's elite clubs.
Olise has seven goals and four assists this season, while Eze has weighed in with eight goals and three assists in an injury-disrupted campaign.
If they can continue their red-hot form, Palace's talented young forwards could make life very difficult for United's rearguard.
For Glasner, it's the perfect opportunity to lay down an early marker and show his reign at Selhurst Park will be an entertaining one with attacking flair at its core.
