‘Don’t go down in the bad period’ - Snubbed Super Eagles star Dessers reacts ahead of UEL clash
The Rangers star failed to make Eric Chelle’s list ahead of Nigeria's World Cup Qualifier clash with Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
With his impressive form, the striker has contributed ten goals and three assists in his last 13 games this season.
This comes as a major disappointment for Dessers, particularly because he is currently the second-highest Nigerian goalscorer in Europe.

The 30-year-old striker is still optimistic despite the setback as he gets ready for Rangers' Europa League round of 16 match against Fenerbahce.
Dessers told Sky Sports Scotland, “It’s important to stay level, don’t go down in the bad period, don’t let it get into your head in the good periods.
“But at this point, I feel good, I feel confident, obviously in scored a few goals in the last games, but I want more.
“It’s good to be on 22 at this stage of the season, that’s a very good feeling, but I want more. Hopefully, I can help the team with more goals.”
🗣️ "We'll need them [the fans]. All together, I think we can do something very special on Thursday."

Dessers scored a goal and provided an assist in the first leg, and he aims to replicate that performance in the second leg at Ibrox Stadium, where Rangers hold a 3-1 aggregate lead.
The Nigerian international will look to continue his impressive form and help Rangers qualify for the quarterfinal of the UEL.
