Deontay Wilder, a former heavyweight boxing champion, recently discussed a potential fight with Cameroonian-French professional mixed martial artist Francis Ngannou.
After months of investigating offers from several organizations, "The Predator" joined the PFL earlier this year after departing the UFC.
He will now be able to follow his interests in boxing, something he has long desired, thanks to the agreement with PFL.
Francis Ngannou may face Deontay Wilder, the strongest puncher in boxing, even if nothing is currently guaranteed.
At PFL 4, "Bronze Bomber," who was present, discussed a prospective battle with Ngannou.

He said, "All things and anything are possible. Me and Francis have had discussions, we had meetings with both parties, as far as the team is concerned.
"So this is a real conversation that has been taking place, not only just amongst the combat family, but amongst the teams as well, getting on the phone, everybody talking."
"I wanted to make it more interesting for the fans and just the whole combat family as a whole, you know? I said,
"How about you come to my backyard [boxing] and after we handle business, I can come to yours [MMA] and cross over.'"
Ngannou is yet to respond to the offer made by Wilder but negotiations are reportedly ongoing.
