The Nigerian international commented on a relaxed team walk ahead of Nigeria’s final Group C encounter against Uganda scheduled for Tuesday evening.

In a short exchange captured on video, Chukwueze was seen chatting with teammate Alex Iwobi, comparing the Moroccan climate to that of London.

“I don’t like this weather,” Chukwueze said jokingly. “It’s like London.”

Iwobi quickly responded by reminding the AC Milan winger of his fondness for the English capital, but Chukwueze maintained his stance, making it clear that the current conditions were not to his liking.

Despite the weather complaints, Nigeria’s on-field performance has been anything but gloomy. Under the guidance of head coach Eric Chelle, the Super Eagles have already secured qualification for the Round of 16 after winning their opening two matches against Tanzania and Tunisia.

Those victories guarantee Nigeria the top spot in Group C with a maximum of six points.

With progression already assured, the final group match against Uganda offers Chelle an opportunity to rotate his squad and maintain momentum heading into the knockout phase.
