Having joined the London club from Brighton in 2023, Caicedo has overcome a shaky start at Stamford Bridge to become one of the club’s best players.

The 23-year-old was voted Chelsea Player of the Season by fans and teammates on Sunday after an incredible individual season.

Caicedo signed an eight-year deal in 2023, possibly keeping him at Chelsea until 2031, but an extension could now be in the offing.

While Romano reports that formal discussions have yet to start, the West London club intend to begin the process soon.
