The Nigerian centre-back helped Fulham keep a clean sheet as they made it back-to-back Premier League wins.
"BIGGG. What a team," Bassey tweeted after the match, along with a fire emoji on his official social media account.
It was a dominant display from Fulham as they swept aside Brighton at Craven Cottage in the evening kick-off.
Bassey put in another assured performance at the heart of the Fulham defense as they kept just their second clean sheet in the last five matches across competitions.
The 24-year-old completed 89% of his passes, made four passes into the final third, won 100% of his tackles and made three crucial clearances.
It was Fulham's first shut-out since a goalless affair against Everton also at Craven Cottage back in January.
