Battle for Bronze after semi-final heartbreak
Both Nigeria and Egypt head into the playoff determined to finish the tournament on a positive note after suffering disappointment in the semi-finals.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles were edged out by hosts Morocco in a dramatic penalty shootout, while Egypt fell narrowly to Senegal following a 1–0 defeat.
With a bronze medal on the line, the match offers both teams an opportunity to salvage pride and secure a place on the AFCON podium.
