Their most recent meeting came on February 10, 2024, when Liverpool secured a 3:1 victory at Anfield with goals from Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, and Darwin Nunez, while Dara O'Shea scored Burnley's consolation. Liverpool's forwards have consistently troubled Burnley, with Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota each scoring twice in their last two meetings.
