This marks another discreet trip home for Benson, who tends to keep these visits low-profile despite her growing public presence.

Benson’s latest visit was centered on Lagos Island, where she explored local markets and immersed herself in the city’s rich fashion and cultural landscape. 

Among the carousel of images, she included photos of defunct naira notes and kobo coins, those old currencies that have become collectible hidden gems, reflecting Nigeria’s economic history.

These pieces, no longer in circulation due to inflation and changes over the decades, add a nostalgic touch to her market adventure.

The snaps highlight her interest in Nigeria’s soft power through clothing and design, showcasing colourful stalls and artisanal finds.

Tolami Benson and Bukayo Saka have been in a relationship for five years, keeping much of it private despite Saka’s prominence in the Premier League and with England.

 The couple, both in their mid-20s, announced their engagement in November 2025, delighting fans with the news. Saka reportedly proposed on 17 November 2025 at a luxurious London hotel, presenting Benson with a stunning diamond ring estimated to be worth between £190,000 and £255,000. 

They shared the moment on Instagram on 28 November 2025, posting black-and-white photos captioned simply “17.11.25”.

The announcement received widespread congratulations from teammates, celebrities, and supporters.
