British-Nigerian coach Hassan Sulaiman makes Thiago Silva's dream come true at Chelsea

Chelsea's Under-18 manager, Hassan Sulaiman, has played a  major role in making Thiago Silva's dream come true.

Thiago Silva, the former Chelsea centre-back, had expressed his desire to see his children represent Chelsea one day.

On Saturday, his 16-year-old son, Isago Silva, made his debut for Chelsea's Under-18 side, coming off the bench in a 3-1 win over Leicester City.

Sulaiman, a British-Nigerian coach, has been instrumental in nurturing young talent at Chelsea.

He has been with the club since 2008 and has risen through the coaching ranks, demonstrating his dedication and expertise.

Under Sulaiman's guidance, Chelsea's youth teams have achieved remarkable success, including winning the Premier League.

Thiago Silva's children, Isago and Iago, joined Chelsea's youth ranks in 2020, and Sulaiman has been providing them with opportunities to play above their age group.

Isago's debut for the Under-18 side is a testament to Sulaiman's commitment to developing young talent.

Thiago Silva, who made 155 appearances for Chelsea and played a big role in the 2020/21 Champions League triumph, will be delighted to see his son taking steps towards following in his footsteps.
