Iheanacho could get a move if Leicester City are relegated
Iheanacho was in brilliant form as Leicester City picked up a valuable point in their clash against Leeds United.

Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho continued his good run of form as he helped Leicester City to a 1-1 draw in their Premier League clash against Leeds United at Elland Road on Tuesday night.

Coming into the game, Iheanacho had scored in Leicester’s last two league matches against Manchester City and Wolves.

Iheanacho's influence on Leicester

His goal against Wolves last weekend helped the Foxes secure a 2-1 win, moving out of the relegation zone.

Although he did not score tonight, Iheanacho was at his brilliant best, creating one big chance and playing two key passes, including the build-up to the goal.

Iheanacho also got close to scoring for the third consecutive game but was denied by Leeds goalkeeper Ilan Meslier.

However, Iheanacho's night ended on a disappointing note as he limped off in the second half with an injury.

Vardy rescues a point for Leicester City

Leicester came into the game looking to build on their win against Wolves and thought they had taken the lead after eight minutes through Youri Tielemans.

However, the Belgian’s effort was ruled out following a VAR review. It turned out to be the wake-up call Leeds needed as Luis Sinisterra put them ahead after 20 minutes.

Dean Smith’s men did try to find a way back into the game, but the home side went into the break with a one-goal advantage.

Leicester did come out stronger in the second half, with Iheanacho going close twice for the away side.

However, their dominance eventually paid off as Iheanacho showed great movement to find James Maddison, who then squared to Jamie Vardy for the equaliser ten minutes from time.

Vardy’s equaliser set up an exciting finish, but despite both teams creating a few chances, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The result was enough to keep both teams out of the relegation zone, but the Foxes could drop back if both Everton and Nottingham Forest win on Wednesday tonight.
