Reactions as Man United edge Brighton on penalties to reach FA Cup final

Man United fans have singled out one player for special praise following their win against Brighton in the FA cup semi-final.

Manchester United edged Brighton Hove Albion 6-7 on penalties in the semifinals of the Emirates FA Cup on Sunday evening, April 23, 2023.

The Red Devils were held to a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes of action at Wembley, with neither side unable to find the back of the net even after 120 minutes of action.

The contest would eventually come down to penalties with Erik ten Hag's men ultimately claiming the victory 6-7 on penalties.

The win for Manchester United now sets up an epic Manchester Derby date in the finals of the 2022/23 Emirates FA Cup as the Red Devils come up against their local rivals and defending Premier League champions Manchester City on Saturday June 3, 2023.
