Be like Zlatan — Ex-Man United star urges Benjamin Sesko to copy Ibrahimovic

Former Manchester United forward Louis Saha has urged Benjamin Sesko to become more arrogant and mirror his game after another former Red Devils star, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, to improve his chances of success in the Premier League.

The Red Devils splashed £74 million on the signing of Sesko in the summer from RB Leipzig in a bid to boost their attacking potential. However, he has only shown glimpses of the quality which earned him the sizeable price tag. 

He has struggled in front of goal and in duels against the Premier League’s defenders, failing to impose himself despite his towering frame and 1.9-metre height. Still, Saha is confident in his abilities and proffered solutions to his difficulties.

The former France international identified similarities between Sesko and Zlatan and has asked the Slovenian to pick up traits like hard work and arrogance from the former AC Milan striker.

"That's basically it; Benjamin Sesko is like a young Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and he needs to grow the same way. Ibrahimovic was well known for working really hard, whether on or off the field. So Sesko has to do the same,” he said, per Goal.

"He has to have that passion to believe that he's going to create some amazing moments for the fans and have this arrogance to express it. Some things are going to come off, some not, and you have to accept it. The Ibrahimović style is definitely that. It's about having that confidence in every match; Sesko needs to inspire himself. 

"I think he has the quality. Technically, we have all seen that he is capable of doing a lot of things. Ibrahimovic was a terrific player and managed to be very, very consistent all through his career. That is the type of aura Sesko needs to express."
