Bayern Munich step in for Mount after Man United's tussle with Chelsea

Bayern Munich are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount after negotiations with Man United seem to have hit a brick wall, Mirror.

Thomas Tuchel has been a huge admirer of the England international who worked with the midfielder while at Chelsea.

United’s third bid for the 24-year-old which includes £50 million plus £5m in add-ons was turned down by Chelsea.

It is understood the Red Devils have turned their attention to Brighton star Moises Caicedo as another midfield option.

Bayern are now in line to hijack the deal knowing full well they would get Mount at a reduced price from the £65m price tag.
