Musiala, who replaced Harry Kane at halftime, scored a hat-trick in just 29 minutes, contributing to Bayern's dominant performance.

His goals helped break the record for most goals scored in a single Club World Cup match.

Other Bayern players who were heroes in the match included Kingsley Coman, Michael Olise, and Thomas Muller, each scoring braces.

Sacha Boey also got on the scoresheet with a first-half strike.

After their convincing win, Bayern Munich will face Boca Juniors in their next match on Saturday, followed by a clash against Benfica on June 24.
