The BAL Finals of 2025 is now been officially scheduled to mark the end of the league’s significant fifth season.
On Saturday, June 14, 2025 Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya will take on Petro de Luanda of Angola at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa.
In the first semifinal last night, Al Ahli Tripoli triumphed over APR of Rwanda with a score of 84–71.
Fabian White Jr. was the top performer with 23 points and 7 rebounds, and Caleb Agada contributed with 17 points.
Al Ahli’s impressive three-point shooting (41.4%) was a key factor, while APR had difficulty from that distance, making only 4 of 18 attempts.
Nuni Omot was the top scorer for APR, with 22 points, while Obadiah Noel, Chasson Randle, and Aliou Diarra each added 13 points.

Petro de Luanda, the reigning champion, comfortably defeated Al Ittihad of Egypt with a score of 96–74 in the second semifinal, maintaining their quest for consecutive BAL titles.
With 21 points, Kendrick Ray was the top scorer, and Aboubacar Gakou contributed 17.
Petro had a three-point shooting percentage of 40.7% and converted 85% of their free throws.
Lual Acuil scored 16 points, leading Al Ittihad, but the team had difficulty with long-range shooting, making only 5 out of 26 tries.
On Friday, June 13, Al Ittihad will compete against APR in the third-place match.
