The 30-year-old was withdrawn in the 72nd minute at the Cairo International Stadium in the defeat.

Through the same injury, the gigantic midfielder missed Uganda Cranes' international friendly matches against Ghana (2-2) and the 4-0 defeat to Comoros.

On Thursday, he joined the rest of the team in training as they prepare to take on Masandawana at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League on Saturday.

Aucho has played all the six games that Young Africans have played on the continent this season, failing to complete 90 minutes on just one occasion.

He set to rival compatriot Dennis Masinde Onyango, who has largely been used as a second-choice goalkeeper at Mamelodi Sundowns this campaign.
