Athletics Kenya postpones Africa Under 18 and 20 Championships trials, new dates revealed

Athletics Kenya has changed the dates for Africa Under 18 and 20 Championships trials initially scheduled for March 24 and 25 to April 7 and 8 at the Nyayo National Stadium.
The move was made due to the unavailability of Nyayo Stadium and Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani.
AK noted that the event is a World Athletics competition ranking event and therefore they are bound to have the events in either of the two stadiums since they are the only stadiums that have been approved by World Athletics.
AK has also advised the athletes who have the potential to make Team Kenya for the continental event to begin application for their passports in good time to avoid last minute rush.

All the school-going athletes are supposed to be cleared by their school principal and their birth certificates verified/certified by the school before vetting day.
