Arsenal's record signing Declan Rice apologises for 'sad' performance against Man United
Arsenal record signing Declan Rice has apologised to fans of the club after a no-show against Manchester United in a preseason clash.

His transfer surpassed the £72 million the Gunners paid to Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice for Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe.
Arsenal vs Man United
Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United met at the MetLife Stadium late Saturday to set the tempo for what could be an interesting season.
The Gunners and their Red Devils had the chance to claim early bragging rights in the season in the not-so-friendly encounter.
Londoners named a strong starting eleven led by record-signing Rice as they looked to get one over Manchester United.
However, it ended in disappointment for the Gunners, who were complete with all their summer acquisitions so far, following two defeats in one night.
The defensive midfielder, Rice, started the encounter but was subbed off in the second with United comfortably leading 2-0.
Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho netted the goals in a brilliant first half display that the Red Devils held on to till the end.
Rice and Arsenal still lost in the subsequent shootout which went 5-3 in favour of Erik Ten Hag and his Reds.
