American teen star Quincy Wilson breaks World U18 Best in Memphis
Sensational Quincy Wilson broke his World U18 Best to win the men's 400m event against pro athletes at the Ed Murphey Classic in Memphis.
The 17-year-old clocked a blistering time of 44.10s, which erased his previous best of 44.20s set in Gainesville a year ago, further solidifying his status as the next big name in the event in years to come.
Wilson defeated his US compatriot and fellow Olympic 4x400m gold medallist Bryce Deadmon in 44.39s, while Jamaica’s Delano Kennedy was third in 45.00s.

In addition, Wilson is now second on the world U20 all-time list just behind Steve Lewis' 43.87s.
