2026 FIFA World Cup: Date, Time and Venue for Draw revealed
The official draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025, in Las Vegas, according to reports from ESPN.
The event heralds the tournament's historic expansion to 48 teams and tri-nation hosting.
Though FIFA has yet to confirm the date and venue, sources say Las Vegas was chosen ahead of competing bids from cities in Canada and Mexico.
Interestingly, Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, home to the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders, was not selected as a match venue for the tournament.
This will be the first World Cup hosted across three nations: the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
