Iwobi’s season in review

Pulse Sports earlier reported that Alex Iwobi made history by becoming the first Nigerian player to feature in all 38 Premier League matches in a season on two separate occasions.
He achieved this remarkable feat once again during the 2024/25 campaign, having previously done so in 2022/23.
This places him among a select group of Nigerians with ever-present seasons, alongside legends like Joseph Yobo (2006/07), Victor Moses (2011/12), and Wilfred Ndidi (2018/19).
Iwobi played the full match as Fulham concluded their season with a 2-0 home defeat to Manchester City at Craven Cottage.
Despite the loss, Iwobi’s contribution over the season was significant, scoring nine goals and providing six assists under Marco Silva’s leadership.
