On Saturday, July 13, Payne took to social media to post about her club status.

In a series of infographics, Payne announced she is departing Primera DivisiĂłn de la Liga de FĂştbol Femenino side Sevilla.

Payne is leaving after six seasons, playing 177 games, scoring 30 goals, and providing 24 assists.

She won numerous titles and was a key part of their midfield force.

A message from Payne about her departure said, "When I arrived from Amsterdam to Seville, I never imagined that I would spend 6 years in this beautiful city, which made me feel like a true Sevillian.

"After just one season, I understood the meaning of being part of this club.

"I have been fortunate enough to wear the Sevilla FC shirt and proudly say that I have defended this badge for 6 seasons, playing 177 games scoring 30 goals and providing 24 assists.
