Super Falcons star Toni Oyedupe Payne receives a playful 'beating' on her return to Sevilla

American-born Nigerian professional footballer Antionette Oyedupe Payne is back on the social media trends.

Payne is back to her club side Sevilla in Spain following her exploits for the Super Falcons of Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

Toni Payne played an integral role as the Super Falcons of Nigeria finished in 10th place out of 32 teams that participated in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

She played all 90 minutes in the goalless draws against Olympic Champions Canada and the final group game against the Republic of Ireland.

She was substituted in the comeback win against hosts Australia and the loss on penalties in the round of 16 to the Lionesses of England.
