In a heavyweight bout between former world champions, Deontay Wilder (43-3-1, 42 KOs) was defeated by Joseph Parker (37-3, 23 KOs) via unanimous decision after twelve rounds, causing a major upset.

118-111, 118-110, and 120-108 were the judges scorecard Parker's victories over Wilder.

Parker, who has been far more active, was competing in his fourth bout of 2023 while Wilder was making his comeback after only one round of action since 2021.
