American-born Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer David Adeleke professionally known as Davido was there at the Etihad Stadium to celebrate Manchester City winning the Premier League for a record third time.
Davido a brand ambassador for the global sports company PUMA was flown to the Etihad Stadium by private aircraft to witness Manchester City play Chelsea.
Chelsea players provided a guard of honor for Manchester City before their season-ending match at the Etihad.
Following the confirmation of his side's championship, Pep Guardiola selected a second team against the Blues. Julian Alvarez scored the game's lone goal in the first half.
Davido celebrates as Manchester City lifts Premier League title
On Sunday, May 21, 2023, the Nigerian tweeted a photo of himself that had been uploaded to Puma Football's official Twitter account.
On Saturday, May 20, 2023, the Cityzens were crowned champions after Nottingham Forest defeated Arsenal 1-0.
There are unconfirmed reports that Davido will be performing at the Manchester City title celebrations.
This will be a massive occasion for Davido who also performed in the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
