Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 38th birthday on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

Following a big-money move as a free agent from Manchester United to Al-Nassr, Ronaldo celebrates his birthday in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo a prominent figure over the years in European football has always celebrated his birthday in Europe during the season.

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates 38th birthday

Now 38, Ronaldo celebrated the special occasion with his family and friends in attendance.

He posted photos of the celebration on his official social media platforms. Ronaldo poses next to a massive cake with his family and friends.

Along with the post by Ronaldo was a message that said, "Thank you everyone for all the birthday messages 🙏🏻❤️ grateful to have spent the day with my family and friends."

Ronaldo's mother Dolores joined in the celebration with a message on social media that said, "Congratulations son, may you have a very happy day and may you count on many with health and love. Kisses."

His sister Elma posted a detailed message to celebrate the occasion, she said, “Today is the King's birthday.

“I can't define in words the love I feel for you, the admiration, respect, and especially gratitude, you were one of the best people I've met in this world and I say not only because you're of my blood.

“It's really hard to know someone like you ❤️another year that will be repeated for many, many years, because life is the world is not bright without you … enjoy a lot my dear brother, I love you so much.”

Ronaldo moved to Al Nassr on a reported €200 million per-year contract

Ronaldo's birthday comes two days after he scored his first goal for his new club Al-Nassr in the Saudi Professional League.

Ronaldo is expected to return to action with Al-Nassr when they take on Al-Wehda on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
