The Gateway Games mascot is named ‘Omo Ogun’. The animated mascot made a lively entrance onto the stage, offering a salute to the audience before stepping down to greet the dignitaries present.

The festival's mascot was brought to life by the creative team of the Ogun State Ministry of Culture, the mascot embodies the energy, rich cultural heritage, and aspirations of the people of Ogun State.

Also, at the event the Games' logo, and vibrant theme song were unveiled, the official logo of the Gateway Games prominently features the Ogun State theme colours of lemon green and yellow, visually connecting the event to its host state.

Following the unveiling of the logo, the official Theme Song of the Festival was presented to the enthusiastic audience.
Titled ‘E’kaabo’, a Yoruba word meaning ‘Welcome’, the rhythmically rich and spirited theme song, composed by Dr Bayo Adepetun, sets the stage for Ogun State's grand welcome to the thousands of athletes, officials, tourists, and VIPs expected to converge for the 22nd National Sports Festival.
