Nigerian and New Zealand professional mixed martial artist Israel Mobolaji Adesanya has shared his thoughts about God and his virginity.

The Last Stylebender, who is the reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight title holder shared his perspective about God and virginity.

Adesanya on who made God?

Adesanya started off the conversation by responding to a question posed by Paul about spirituality.

The 33-year-old who was born in Lagos, explained that he used to ask who made God as a Christian when he was young.

"I grew up in a religious household, but when I was young Sunday school.

“I remember asking like my Sunday school teacher well if God made the world then who made God and no one had an answer for me.

"I asked my parents and then what I asked my housemates and one of my aunties remember.

 “I kept on asking for like a whole week and she goes if you keep asking that question you go mad."

Adesanya losing virginity at 18

Later in the conversation, Adesanya went on to state that he has been able to find a certain clarity in spirituality.

He noted that he now knows the Bible was written by men, and then the translation to the King James Version.

The two-time UFC middleweight champion detailed that he lost his virginity at 18 and also started drinking at a young age.

Adesanya explained, "I've also again I've been on some trips where I feel like I've I've been there you know what I mean I feel like 

"So I've seen that with work and I've seen that with religion and the word God for me was like that a certain point in my life through my maybe not teenage years.

"Okay I started drinking at 18. not that I didn't believe in God, but I just like I lost my virginity at 18." 

Adesanya on being a late bloomer

In the conversation, Adesanya went on to explain that he lost his virginity late compared to most, as he was a Nigerian kid that moved to New Zealand, a new country, at an early age.

Adesanya detailed that he was not the physical specimen he is today as the reigning UFC champion, as that came with time as a late bloomer.

Adesanya also talked about his recent victory against Alex Pereira at UFC 287 and compared his pettiness with NBA legend Michael Jordan.

He added, "I bloomed very late I was just I was short I had a same size head skinny body.

"So I looked like a lollipop uh and I was yeah also a black kid who moved to New Zealand.

"I wasn't really what people was looking for. I'm still glowing up."

Adesanya really opened himself up to several questions and shared his perspective when asked by Paul on the ImPaulsive podcast.

Adesanya on the podcast talked about signing an endorsement deal with Prime, owned by Paul. 

He also talked about his recent victory against Alex Pereira at UFC 287 and compared his pettiness with NBA legend Michael Jordan.
