Last night, three burglars targeted Joelinton's mansion, forcing the Newcastle midfielder to call the police after receiving a tip that they were inside.

Joelinton has been one of Newcastle’s best player this season despite their inconsistent performance in the league.

However, the Brazilian has been sidelined with an injury which kept him out of the clash against Man City.

The perpetrators had already left the multi-million dollar Darras Hall residence by the time police arrived.

Reports also suggest that at the time of the attack, no one was inside the house. Investigations into the raid at the 27-year-old's residence are still ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
