Erling Haaland lavishes £200,000 on new Porsche 911 GT3 after becoming Highest-Paid Premier League star ever

Manchester City’s goal machine Erling Haaland is celebrating his record-breaking contract in style, treating himself to a flashy new ride worth over £200,000. 

The 24-year-old Norwegian superstar, who recently signed an eye-watering ten-year deal with City worth an astonishing £500,000 per week, has wasted no time in enjoying the new car in his expensive collection.

The deal, which secures Haaland’s future at the Etihad until 2034, guarantees him a staggering £260 million over the course of the contract, making him the highest-paid player in Premier League history.

With any release clause from his previous contract now scrapped, any club hoping to poach him will need to cough up an astronomical fee.

But it’s not just his bank balance that’s making headlines—Haaland has already begun splurging, first securing a multi-million-pound Cheshire mansion in January, and now, adding a luxury sports car to his collection.

The Sun reports the former Borussia Dortmund striker was recently spotted cruising out of City’s training ground in a brand-new, orange Porsche 911 GT3, sending fans into a frenzy on social media. 

While many admired his new purchase, some couldn’t resist poking fun at the choice of colour.

One fan cheekily questioned: “Why orange?” Another simply hailed him, writing: “GOAT Haaland.” A third added: “That new salary is hitting.”

Despite Man City’s struggles this season, Haaland has remained a standout performer, bagging an impressive 27 goals and three assists in 35 appearances. 

He was subbed off in City’s 4-0 win over Newcastle on Saturday and played no part in their devastating 6-3 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League round of 16.

Regardless of his team’s struggles on the pitch, Haaland's wealth and influence only looks set to grow as he continues to embrace the superstar lifestyle.
