Manchester United fans are not happy with the club's comments on his departure in a wedding photo.

Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea married his wife, Edurne, and the team that fired him on his wedding day was among the first to wish him well.

But outraged supporters of Manchester United retaliated by denouncing them for "treating him terribly" and calling them "tone deaf" on social media.

The Spanish goalkeeper might be the most recent top star to move to Saudi Arabia.

De Gea's £375,000-a-week contract ended on Friday and reportedly  he was given cheaper terms at Old Trafford

With Inter Milan's Andre Onana as his main pick, United's manager Erik ten Hag was impatient with waiting for a response.

Then that offer was withdrawn since it is obvious that manager Ten Hag is seeking elsewhere, along with  a tight transfer budget and the need to sign a new striker.

Despite the fact that De Gea is currently a free agent, he still prefers to remain at Old Trafford if they can come to an agreement on fresh terms.

After discovering he was jobless, he set his employment concerns aside to get married to Edurne Garcia, a 37-year-old singer, TV presenter, and actress.

The happy couple celebrated their engagement on the Spanish island of Menorca before the big day on Saturday.

While passionately gazing at her man, who was dressed in a grey suit, a white shirt, and a tie, Edurne looked gorgeous in her white gown.

On Instagram, De Gea posted pictures of himself and his new wife with the message, "We couldn't be happier!"

As the congratulations poured in, United's official Instagram account was among the first to post: "Felicidades, David," along with a heart-shaped emoji.

After maintaining 17 clean sheets in the Premier League, he concluded this season with the golden glove as well.
