The ceremony took place on Sunday at the luxurious Freudenstein Castle in South Tyrol, Italy.

The German international was previously married to Nina, but their marriage ended when Neuer fell in love with Bissel.

The couple hired a security firm to prevent uninvited guests from accessing the venue. Prioritizing privacy, they required all staff to surrender their mobile phones upon entry.

Despite their efforts, a few photos made their way online, reportedly posted by friends, according to German media.

Neuer's teammates, Konrad Laimer and Sven Ulreich, were in attendance. Former footballer Michael Ballack and his partner, Sophia Schneiderhan, were also among the guests.

Schneiderhan, who is also friends with Anika, shared several pictures on Instagram.
