Ghana superstar Mohammed Kudus has touched at Premier League club West Ham United from Ajax.

West Ham United have completed the signing of Ghana international Mohammed Kudus.

Kudus has joined the Hammers from Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam on a five-year contract that will see him stay at West Ham until the summer of 2028.

West Ham announced this on their website as the 23-year-old was unveiled to the fans.

“West Ham United are delighted to announce the signing of Mohammed Kudus,” the club stated on Sunday.

Kudus has become the Club’s third major summer signing following his former Ajax teammate and Mexico international Edson Álvarez and England midfielder James Ward-Prowse.

The Ghanaian forward was the subject of intense speculation between some of Europe’s top clubs before the Hammers beat off competition for his signature.

Kudus also noted that it is a dream come true to finally have the chance to play in the Premier League.

“I’ve been dreaming to play in a league like this since I was a kid,” said Kudus, who will wear the No14 shirt, told the club.

“I’ve been dreaming of this moment and I’m so happy to be here. But it doesn’t stop here, I want to keep going.

“I try my best to entertain the fans as I think that’s what football is all about. I’m just here to do my best and help the team. I’m really happy to be here. I will fight for the badge. I can’t wait to get started.”
