Turkish pundit tips ‘Superhuman’ Osimhen to lead Galatasaray to Champions League glory
Turkish pundit Rasim Ozan Kutahyalı is confident Victor Osimhen will light up the UEFA Champions League with Galatasaray.
Speaking on the Ekol Sports YouTube channel, Kutahyalı predicted that the Nigerian star could reach double digits in goals for the Turkish giants.
High hopes for Osimhen after record-breaking season
Galatasaray are finalising a historic move for Super Eagles’ star striker Osimhen, with a deal worth €75 million in total.
The Super Lig champions will pay €40 million upfront, followed by €35 million next year, and Napoli are also set to benefit from a resale clause and performance bonuses.
Osimhen, who delivered a staggering 45 goal involvements during his loan spell at Galatasaray last season, has already adapted to Turkish football with ease.
Kutahyalı believes that this foundation will translate into Champions League success, tipping him for 30 league goals and 10 in Europe. “He adjusted to the Turkish League last year. He needs to score at least 10 goals in the Champions League,” he insisted.

Kutahyalı was quick to highlight Osimhen’s determination and mental toughness, describing him as “superhuman” for his resilience at Napoli and swift rise in Turkey.
He warned that Galatasaray’s true test this season lies in Europe and stressed that the club must go beyond the group stage.
“If Galatasaray doesn’t play in the Champions League in December, the stands will lose their excitement and fullness,” Kutahyalı said.
The Nigerian striker already has nine goals in seventeen career Champions League appearances and will be expected to deliver more as Galatasaray aim for a deep run.
